Of Counsel

Richard has had a long distinguished career representing clients in matters including civil and criminal matters, civil rights, habeas actions, and other appellate matters. He has argued in front of the Washington Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. In addition, he regularly provides volunteer services to indigent clients at the Neighborhood Legal Clinic since 2000.

Education

Richard received a BA from Oberlin College in Ohio and a JD from the Northwestern School of law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OREGON.

Interests

He has a special interest in world history, especially, Chinese history and law. He is trying to learn Mandarin and Chinese, and travels to different parts of China annually.
